New-Home Sales Numbers Say Buyers Are Still Hesitant

Early gauges for November’s new-home sales show are disappointing, Wall Street Journal blogger Kris Hudson writes.

Hudson attributes this lackluster performance to consumers who remain hesitant despite the improving economy. “On the basis of the total national volume of sales, the November result likely is closer to a small decline or break-even with a year earlier,” Hudson writes.
