National builder Taylor Morrison Homes' “myModel Home Project" will allow consumers to vote on design elements for several model homes.
Project participants will be able to vote on cabinets, lighting fixtures, countertops, flooring, and paint colors for model homes in Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay area, The Washington Post reports. Voting will be held throughout 2018, and participants are also able to enter a drawing for a $500 Amazon gift card.
Taylor Morrison has previously built five model homes with crowdsourced design decisions, beginning with its first online voting campaign in 2015, when more than 30,000 people voted. Among the models built with the help of voters is the Florence model at Avalon at Sienna Plantation in Houston. For more information, visit mymodelhomeproject.com.
