BASF HP+ Wall System E-Series

The HP+ Wall System E-Series from BASF combines continuous insulation with an air/vapor barrier system to create a stronger wall assembly that uses less wood than traditional wall construction, the company says. The assembly also minimizes energy loss by reducing air leakage and offers high R-values, meeting or exceeding current building and energy codes, with a minimum nominal insulation R-value of R-25 up to R-32 with 2x4 wood framing. Titebond Ultimate TiteGrab Construction Adhesive

Titebond's Ultimate TiteGrab construction adhesive is formulated to accelerate installation time in vertical applications. The adhesive enables quick holding for heavy items and reduces or eliminates the need for bracing. Initial vertical grab is twice as strong as most other adhesives, the company says. Nisus Bora-Care With Mold-Care

Applied during construction, the product also prevents mold from growing again. Such treatment is especially critical when using spray-foam insulation, where mold and termites can thrive undetected under the insulation, and it will reduce or eliminate the need for fumigation to kill termites in the future, the company says. Maze Stormguard Nails

American made, using domestic steel, Maze Stormguard nails are dipped twice in molten zinc and have a thick zinc coating for maximum corrosion-resistance. All Maze Stormguard nails meet and exceed the ASTM A 153 specification for hot-dip galvanizing.
