You’ve likely seen Laura Kirar’s face in the Kohler booth at KBIS or in publications such as Architectural Digest, Interior Design, or The New York Times. This month, the founder and creative director of Laura Kirar Design answers some questions for us.
Q: What is the state of kitchen and bath product design these days?
"Due to developments in technology, product development time has been greatly reduced," she says. "My first collection for Kallista—Vir Stil—took three years to develop. However, my most recent collection, Paletta, took one-and-half years from start to finish. That’s huge!"
