TimberTech's Aluminum Framing uses recycled aluminum instead of traditional wood or steel for deck framing, meant to ensure a flat and sturdy foundation. Manufactured to withstand moisture damage in the form of rust, corrosion, or mold, the system is also fire-resistant, carrying a Class A Flame Spread Rating (the highest available).

According to the manufacturer, the strength of its 2x8 aluminum joists opens up design possibilities, allowing for longer spans than typical framing materials, which means fewer support posts and the option for cantilevered overhangs. The system also reduces the need for fasteners during assembly, which speeds up installation.
