This spring and summer are looking to be great seasons for the real estate market.
According to the most recent Realtors Confidence Index Survey, real estate agents are very optimistic about the next half-year. According to the NAR’s Economists’ Outlook blog, the six-month outlook index for single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums each registered above 60. A score above 50 indicates that respondents feel the market conditions will be “strong.”
The index for single-family homes reached 80, the highest since NAR began this index in 2008.
In the single-family homes market, the outlook in the next six months is “moderate” to “very strong” in nearly all states and in the District of Columbia. Only North Dakota registered a “weak” outlook.
