Rental Construction to Outpace Demand

While growth in rents will continue through 2015, renters may rest easier with the possibility that they won’t increase as much as in 2014, MarketWatch states.
 
The reason that rents are expected to slow this year is due to an increase in rental starts and apartment projects. Rental construction will outpace demand as spending on new multi-family residences rose 27 percent in November 2014 and continues its upward trend.
