Composite Cladding From MoistureShield

MoistureShield recently unveiled its latest composite innovation, MoistureShield Cladding, which features the company’s Vision and Meridian capped composite decking lines. The proprietary Solid Core manufacturing process protects the wood plastic composite cladding from moisture absorption, warping, rotting, and damage from insects on all four sides, says the maker, and  is available in a wide selection of colors including Smokey Gray, Spanish Leather, Cold Brew, Mochaccino, Cathedral Stone, and Sandstone, as well as true wood-grain finishes in Citadel, Shoreside (shown above, main image) and Mariner. Click for more info


Westlake Royal Building Products' Poly-Ash Lap Siding

Westlake Royal Building Products recently added a new 5/8-inch Lap Siding to its TruExterior poly-ash siding line. The poly-ash material mimics real cedar and mixes polymers and fly ash for increased dimensional stability as well as resistance to warping, cracking, and splitting. Westlake’s Lap Siding comes in 16-foot lengths and can be painted any color with no sealing required. Click for more info
