IKO has added to its PRO4 roofing component system with UltraHP Ridge Cap Shingles, which add a dimensional high-profile and textured look to a roof. They also protect the roofline, providing a water-shedding system where roof planes meet. Made with a polymer-modified asphalt coating, the shingles come in 16 colors and match other IKO lines of shakes and shingles. The UltraHP Ridge Cap Shingles have a preformed rolled design with a curved edge and an 8 ¼-inch exposure. They offer 30 percent more coverage than a traditional ridge cap shingle, the company says, allowing for easier, faster installation.
