Not counting Richmond, Va., a metro with a strong income growth and low unemployment, the hottest housing markets are all out west.
The Zillow Home Value Index (ZHVI) Forecast named the 10 hottest metros based on income growth and unemployment rates. Mainstays like Denver, Seattle, and Dallas were listed, as were Ogden, Utah, Sacramento, Calif., and Richmond.
Denver’s ZHVI score is expected to rise 5 percent year-over-year.
