Most States Expect Stable Home Price Growth Over The Next Year
According to the latest Realtors Confidence Index Survey, NAR members project a 4 percent home price change over the next 12 months.
Results varied across the nation, as 13 states predicted 4 to 7 percent growth over the next year, and two states (North Dakota and West Virginia) pegged 0 to 2 percent growth. The majority of states expected between 3 and 4 percent growth. Respondents in the West and South were most optimistic.
Lack of supply amid strong demand has propped up home prices.
