Students excluded, young adults living with parents still at all-time high
A key Census survey counts students living on-campus as living with parents, leading many to believe that the high number in statistics showing young adults living with their parents is merely because college enrollment has also increased. However, Trulia Chief Economist Jed Kolko writes that even when dorm-dwelling students are excluded from the numbers, young adults living with their parents still is at an all-time high since first recorded in the 1980s.
