Hawaii topped CNBC’s 2019 list of the U.S. states with the best quality of life.
By the numbers, these are the states that offer the best quality of life. That’s because they offer everything people yearn for: job opportunities, affordable housing, great schools, a low cost of living, affordable health care and a clean environment.
Good quality of life is also good business. What better selling point could there be for a company looking to attract the best talent than to offer a great location for employees to settle down and raise a family.
Hawaii topped the list with a quality of life score of 297 out of 325. It was followed by Vermont (262), Minnesota (259), North Dakota (235), New Hampshire, and Washington (232 each).
