Touring a Texas fairytale home

A couple in Texas mixed the German heritage of the town they relocated to with native materials. The result is a charming, contemporary cottage.
Instead of a wood-dominant structure one often associates with cottages, the homeowners opted for white limestone juxtaposed with rustic touches such as red cedar beams and board-and-batten shutters. The whole home was given a contemporary vibe with details such as the color aqua and raw, cement flooring.
