Water Cuts Won’t Stop California From Growing Economically

The Wall Street Journal surveyed prominent economists about how much they think California’s mandate on water cuts will affect its economy. The consensus: not much.

Out of all the forecasters surveyed, 51 percent said that the effects of the restrictions on the economy will be “too small to show up in economic data such as income growth,” while another 44 percent said the “drag would be small but measurable in data.”
