Builder provides touches of home for new immigrants

A Hindu family in McCandless, Pa., is working with a local home builder to create a house that will adhere to Hindu traditions.

Among the features requested by the family are an east-facing entrance, a first floor prayer room, and an in-law suite for relatives visiting from India. The builder, Frank Madia, has done similar projects with Korean and Chinese families.
