According to Fast Company, just 18% of leaders strongly agree that their teams consistently demonstrate true alignment through behaviors such as clear communication and accountability. A team that's misaligned on goals, values, and strategies can weaken a business over time, so it's important for leaders to regularly check that they're properly aligned with their teams.
Teams that aren’t aligned on their goals often lack clear communication skills and tend to keep to themselves rather than working together, which can allow minor issues to grow into major problems. When this happens, meetings tend to lack the depth necessary for long-term success and continued engagement.
