10 US Neighborhoods Currently Riding a Wave of Popularity
As the spring buying season approaches and winter recedes, real estates listings website Realtor.com reports that some neighborhoods are drawing more attention from homebuyers than others. They run the gamut from the Woodmont section of Milford, Conn., in the No. 1 spot, where a typical home costs around $625,000, to pricier locales such as Beverly Crest in California's Santa Monica Mountains where the median home list price is $5.97 million.
"The more affordable neighborhoods near the top of the list likely draw buyer attention for their low home prices and considerable bang for your buck," says Realtor.com senior economic research analyst Hannah Jones.
