In an effort to give back to its local community, statewide construction industry group Arizona Builders Alliance (ABA) will be donating construction and renovation services to Mesa, Ariz.-based nonprofit Jacob’s Hope. The organization was selected as ABA’s annual Community Service Project for the around-the-clock medical care that it provides to newborns exposed to substances and the prenatal support it provides for mothers in recovery.

The project will upgrade the Jacob’s Hope facility, allowing the organization to expand its reach and help more infants in need throughout the Phoenix area. Renovation work, which includes painting, flooring, electrical, and HVAC systems, will be carried out by skilled professionals from ABA member companies. The project's goal is to create a safer, more comfortable space for both the infants and the caregivers who support them.

"By selecting Jacob's Hope for our Community Service Project, we're investing in the health and future of Arizona's most vulnerable newborns," said Kim Davids, CEO and President of Arizona Builders Alliance. "This project showcases how the construction industry can make a significant impact on critical community needs and embodies the spirit of community service that drives our industry and demonstrates the positive change we can achieve when we work together."
