Case-Shiller: Home price appreciation slowing

Analysis of home prices in 20 large U.S. metros through July by Case-Shiller indicates that while prices continue to rise, they are doing so at a considerably slower pace.

While prices grew in double-digit figures for most metros throughout 2013, as of July only Las Vegas, Miami, and San Francisco were still experiencing that type of growth year-over-year; growth rates were less than 4 percent in five metros.
