Artistic Tile introduced Shagreen Porcelain, a new high-honed porcelain tile created by decorative surfaces designer Steve Charles. Meant to evoke sophistication and high-fashion luxury, Shagreen takes its name from the rough, granular rawhide used throughout history by pharaohs, samurai, and Art Deco artists. The 24-by-24-inch tiles come in three colors (Coffee, White, and Grey) and are intended for use on interior floors, shower walls, countertops, interior and exterior walls, and pools and fountains.
