First-Time Homebuyers Can Get $2K Annually

The number of participants to a little-known Florida housing program that gives first-time home buyers $2,000 a year has increased.

To be exact, the number of participants tripled in just one year.

Run by state-owned Florida Housing Finance Corp., the program gives first-time homebuyers “money back each year based on how much interest they pay on their mortgage,” The Sun Sentinel reports.
