One manufacturer of radiant heat products says that we are now at a break-even point between the electricity bill versus having the kid next door shovel the driveway.

Heated driveways have become more popular as they’ve become more affordable, Realtor.com reports. Park City, Utah, currently leads the nation in the number of homes for sale touting heated driveways. The cost of materials to cover the tire tracks of a single car in a 50-foot driveway is about $2,500.
