Home Values Grew More Than U.S. Homeowners Expected

Zillow Real Estate Research found that in general, Americans tended to underestimate home value growth in 2014.

This was particularly the case for respondents in metro areas that grew very quickly. The survey also shows that homeowners don’t usually heed the advice of economists that say past performance of a market is not necessarily an indicator of future results.
