The Raleigh Architecture Company designed urban infill housing by putting two homes in close proximity to each other.
Called Edentwin, the two houses side-by-side in a tight lot in downtown Raleigh, N.C., share a central courtyard. Sharing the outdoor space was the best way to maximize land use, Design Milk reports.
Simple materials were used to build the house: metal pan-formed concrete foundations, wood stud walls, and engineered wood floors.
