Housing market stabilizes, Freddie Mac says

In Freddie Mac’s newly updated Multi-Indicator Market Index, the enterprise reports U.S. housing markets are following the pattern of other markets in the local economy.

This means housing markets in areas with stronger local economies and favorable demographics continue to improve at a much stronger pace than markets where the local economy is still generally weak.
