HOLZGERLINGEN, Germany — Chris Marshall, founder and Managing Director of in2aqua GmbH, has concluded an exclusive partnership agreement to offer shower products made by Swiss manufacturer Nikles Inter AG to its kitchen and bath dealers in the United States and Canada.
The agreement calls for Nikles (USA) Inc. to relabel more than 100 of its decorative showering products to the in2aqua brand for shipment to showrooms throughout North America via the in2aqua logistics center in Livermore, CA. Customer service, email and telephone communications will gradually transition from Nikles to in2aqua during the first quarter of this year, with the goal of completing this process by the end of March 2023.
“The pairing of in2aqua’s cutting-edge faucet technologies with our equally cutting-edge showering technologies offers Nikles customers in North America new marketing opportunities,” says Nikles President Gerhard Nikles, who founded the company in 1982. “We look forward to aligning the marketing activities of our U.S. operation with those of in2aqua to increase our shares of the North American market.”
Based in Basel, Switzerland, Nikles remains 100%-family-owned four decades later, but now as one of the world’s leading shower-equipment manufacturers and suppliers. Nikles maintains both manufacturing and sales organizations in Italy and China, with sales organizations in Thailand, Australia and New Zealand, as well as in Germany, Switzerland, and the U.S. (now targeting only OEM accounts).
The company’s product offerings encompass hand showers, shower heads, slide bars, shower systems, and shower hoses.
Established in 2014 in Stuttgart, Germany, by Marshall, in2aqua makes and markets decorative bathroom and kitchen faucets and showering products with a special emphasis on partnering with bath and kitchen showrooms and the professionals who operate them — initially in Europe and now in North America.
“We believe our customers are best served if our quality products are sold only through displaying, in2aqua Registered Showrooms,” explains Marshall, a 30-year veteran of the global plumbing industry. Prior to launching in2aqua, he held senior positions at Hansgrohe, Masco, KWC and Hansa Metallwerke AG, where he served as CEO.
Working hand in hand with in2aqua’s Showroom Business Model is the company’s commitment to superior product design, manufacturing and sustainability. Balancing function, form and flow, in2aqua strives to create designer-grade products that are user-friendly, durable and sustainable. This philosophy is validated by the fact that in2aqua has earned the “Best Value Faucets” recognition from StarCraft Faucet Reviews in each of the past seven years.
In addition to being a WaterSense partner, all in2aqua faucets are certified to joint U.S./Canadian standards of mechanical safety, reliability, and durability, as well as certified lead-free and drinking-water safe by ICC-ES PMG.
Both in2aqua, now headquartered in Holzgerlingen, Germany, and selected Nikles products will be on display at KBIS 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, January 31 – February 2. Media are invited to set an appointment to meet with Marshall and view these products in the German Pavilion, Booth N353, by contacting John O’Reilly at GreenHouse Digital + PR [cell: 847 987 4479 | email: john@greenhousedigitalpr.com].
