NanaWall Systems, the well-known manufacturer of folding and sliding doors, has developed a new high-end product line featuring large panels and narrow frames.

“We saw a need in the market for an extremely high-end sliding door product,” says Matt Thomas, marketing manager at the Corte Madera, Calif.-based company. “We wanted to bolster the market for extremely large panels with very thin profiles. Now consumers and builder have a choice.”

Cero by NanaWall is an all-aluminum sliding glass wall system. The line features ultra-thin minimal frames for maximum light, heigh-adjustable floor track, and multiple sill options. It has been tested to 40,000 opening and closing cycles.

Featuring stiles and rails measuring a consistent 1 5/16 inches, the full floor-to-ceiling sliding glass panels have recessed top and bottom tracks. Each panel operates on twin rollers with encapsulated and self-lubricating ball bearings. Stainless steel wheels provide an equal distribution of panel weight and slide effortlessly on a stainless steel track. “To provide the sleek minimal look, the roller assemblies are concealed within the bottom panel profile,” the company says.

The system is available in single-, double-, and triple-track options, as well as in open- or fixed-corner setups. Panels are dry-glazed to provide air circulation and to allow any potential water to fully weep out of the panels. Double or triple glazing is also available, depending on the location and the energy codes, Thomas says.

Cero comes in 50 standard powder-coat colors, up to 200 color-matched options, and custom hues. It can create openings measuring up to 43 feet, depending on design. A motorized option is available.

“Because of the nature of the product, it requires a greater amount of details and design,” says Thomas.

NanaWall is introducing cero across the North American market.
