Rent Rate Continues To Grow

Homeownership is expensive, and renting is, too.

MarketWatch reports that rents rose 0.3 percent in July and 3.8 percent in the 12 months ending July, which matches the highest level since January 2008.

The high rents are due to several factors, including a lack of supply, low demand for ownership, and tight credit.
