Traditionally, New York’s super-tall high-rises have been office buildings. But three new residential developments are racing them to the skies.
CNN Money reports that condo buildings are climbing ever higher in cities where space is limited, such as Hong Kong, London, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York. And because these available lots tend to be small, the buildings are also getting skinnier. According to CNN Money, prices for these units are also sky-high; most of the new owners are international buyers and corporate bigwigs.
