Is density dead?
Adding more units per acre seemed to be gaining more momentum for addressing the housing shortage as more cities and counties loosened single-family detached only zoning. The coronavirus pandemic hit and homebuyers presumably want to leave the city for more space and less crowds. But not everyone can live in the country or the suburbs. These are creative design innovations that can tastefully add more housing in a smaller footprint without the negative attributes that NIMBYs typically associate with the D-word.
