Millennials wait in the sidelines in more expensive housing markets, Zillow Real Estate Research reports.
 
Even though home values have recovered approximately half of the losses incurred during the recession, this creates barriers to homeownership for current renters who are struggling to save for ever-growing down payments. Data from the Zillow Housing Confidence Index reveals that high home values are a big influence when it comes to young adults delaying homeownership.
