Data from NAR research, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the American Community Survey show the 10 cities that can bring immediate home sales opportunities to Millennial home buyers.
On top of the list is Austin, Texas, a college town with a large number of Millennials and strong job growth.
Cities make the list for a variety of reasons. Denver sits at number three for its solid inflow of Millennials paired with promising job growth and gains in median home prices, while Grand Rapids, Mich., makes it to number five because of its affordable homes.
Minneapolis and Salt Lake City are at number six and nine respectively thanks to their growing inventory of homes for sale, while New Orleans and Seattle earns spots at seven and 10 because of their falling unemployment rate.
