Realtor.com reports that designers, builders, and homeowners are finding that 3D wall coverings can easily jazz up an unremarkable room, providing warmth and dimension.
The coverings include a variety of materials and styles, including sculpted-metal, glass-beaded paper, wood panels, silvery hair-on cowhide, gold leaves, silver-gilt mirrors, Teodorico plaster, and glazed-ceramic tiles.
While some options are high-end, others aren’t that costly. A Texas company sells geometric aggregations of wood in a variety of finishes for only $30 per square foot.
