New Year, New Confidence for D.C.-Area Buyers

The number of sales in the D.C. region rose for the first time in a year in December, according to the Washington Post.

RealEstate Business Intelligence said there were approximately 300 more homes sold last month than in December 2013, a year-over-year increase of 8 percent. Pending sales also rose by 11 percent while active listings were up by 19.1 percent to 8,267.
