More than half of Millennials own a home in the Ogden-Clearfield metro area in Utah.
Credit.com reports that ABODO, an apartment listing company, found where Millennials are buying homes, and where they are not.
According to the research, 51 percent of people between ages 18 and 35 own a home in Ogden-Clearfield, the highest rate of the 100 largest metros.
Millennials ownership rates are also strong in Grand Rapids, Mich. (45.3 percent), Des Moines, Iowa (43.6 percent), McAllen, Texas (43.3 percent), and Minneapolis (42.4 percent).
On the other end, expensive home prices have led to Millennial ownership rates under 20 percent in the Los Angeles, Honolulu, San Diego, and New York City markets.
