Get to know Division President of Fresh Paint by Garman Homes Rebecca McAdoo in this week’s installation of The Weekly. Cary, North Carolina-based McAdoo talks to Rich Binsacca, Pro Builder’s editor in chief, about leadership and adhering to basic principles of kindness and respect as part of her company's profitability.
Fresh Paint is Garman Homes’ sister company that focuses on banning the beige by offering fully curated interior packages by designers. McAdoo describes it as “an edgy way to sell a home.” But McAdoo and her company still face normal challenges such as lot supply, attainability, margins, and staffing.
“We believe a home building company can change the world and you can’t do that having one person reading a manifesto and saying, ‘Good luck!’” says McAdoo.
See how McAdoo faces these challenges, her advice for becoming a steward of the community, and instilling the focus of kindness into her team.
