How the Growing Hispanic Population Impacts Housing Demand

Over the next decade, Hispanic household growth will increase by 5.7 million households, the Mortgage Bankers’ Association reported in a study.

The report also found that the homeownership rate among Hispanics ages 40 and over is greater than the current average rate of 46 percent for all Americans. Key to this growth in the future are Hispanic Millennials, who make up 21 percent of all U.S. Millennials.
