Strong Hiring and Low Rates Pushed May Home Sales
The New York Times reports that more Americans bought homes in May, and that it pushed up prices.
“Solid hiring since 2014 and relatively low mortgage rates have stirred up demand and helped generate more first-time buyers,” the article says.
The fed’s looming rate hike and continuing price growth of homes are also a factor that convinced many Americans to buy.
