Typical employees in the tech sector, especially those living in the Bay Area, can retire at age 40 and live off retirement savings, Zillow Real Estate Research found.

That is, if the worker were frugal during his or her career and retirement. “It’s entirely possible that, thanks in part to the wonders of compound interest, their money may realistically never run out,” the report says.
