The East North Central region includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Lennar, PulteGroup, and D.R. Horton occupy the top three spots among 28 builders operating in those states last year, which combined for a total of 25,025 for-sale and for-rent closings/completions in 2025.

Indiana led all states in the region with 9,168 for-sale and for-rent units.
