The Mountain region includes Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

D.R. Horton, Lennar, and PulteGroup occupy the top three spots among 50 builders that operated in the region last year, which combined for a total of 57,092 for-sale and for-rent closings/completions in 2025, the third-most among all regions. 

Arizona led all states in the region with 22,461 for-sale and for-rent units.
