On this episode of The Weekly, TrueNorth Development President Scott Sedam lays out a six-week process for builders to significantly cut their building costs.
Sedam uses a Lean Strategy that he describes as a science, culture, disciple, and a set of tools directed toward the destruction of waste in all forms. The goal is to create a perfect value, as defined by the custom, with zero waste of material, labor, overhead, and time. Anything that does not add value in the eyes of the customer.
“There’s some really definitive things we can do to reduce our cost of lumber, engineered wood truss, anything you’re using, even though the price is high,” says Sedam.
