Some homeowners living in areas vulnerable to repeated flooding have turned to designs that allow homes to float off of the ground. Inhabitat compiled a gallery of six such homes. “We may see [floatation capability] pop up in more houses as flooding threatens to become a regular occurrence around the world,” the web publication says.
