Nissan has detailed its half-ton Titan pickup, which will be available this summer. Although the truck looks similar to the larger XD model and uses the same 390 hp 5.6-liter V-8 engine, the 2017 Titan and the Titan XD don’t share any common chassis components. The half-ton Titan has a chassis that measures 228.1 inches long for the crew cab model, which is 14.7 inches shorter than the XD. Additionally, the half-ton model will have a wheelbase that’s a foot shorter and will be 1 ½ inches lower in height than its big brother. The truck will have the option of three cab lengths: 5.5, 6.5, and 8 feet.
