The new building code in Prescott, Ariz., will foster new energy efficient solutions and will require new conformance inspections and testing to specified limits. This is the first time a builder will have to test his building for construction quality and provide energy-efficiency results to the building department. It is also the first time a homebuyer will have access to energy-efficiency results for a new home.
