Insulation manufacturer Icynene is now using Chemours’ Opteon 1100 foam-blowing agent in its high-performance spray foam insulation solutions. Opteon 1100 helps meet Icynene’s need for a nonflammable, high-efficiency blowing agent with low global-warming potential. According to Chemours, using Opteon 1100 in one 2,400-square-foot house could lead to 60,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide reduction.
