The Northeast region of the U.S. has significant untapped potential for solar power development. Real estate website Redfin identified 10 cities in the region with the most potential for solar development, with Providence, R.I., topping the list. Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo, N.Y., along with Worcester, Mass., rounded out the top five. The study found that despite limited sun exposure in winter, the region still has high potential as a solar power generator.
