A housing inventory shortage affecting areas in many regions of the country continues to be most severe on the West Coast. Half of the top 10 cities with low inventory are located in that region. Seattle and Eugene, Oregon are the top two cities on the list of communities with the tightest housing markets, according to a Realtor.com survey.
