Chesmar Homes and Newland Communities are partnering to build a 2,733 square foot house that will benefit two Houston charities, according to The Houston Chronicle.
As part of the GHBA Benefit Homes Project, the house will be sold at market value and most proceeds will go to HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home.
Chesmar will manage the construction, and Newland donated the homesite. The house will have “numerous upgrades and amenities,” and will be built with donated materials, labor, and services.
